Principles of Environmental Science - Fall 2020 - The New School
Abstract: This report investigates the feasibility of green infrastructure implementation in NYC for stormwater runoff mitigation, focusing especially on the application of green roofs, permeable pavement, and bioswales. By synthesizing the results from an array of studies conducted in the City, the performance and potential benefits of green infrastructure in NYC can be adequately compared against one another. The report finally makes recommendations for moving forward with the policy and design of green infrastructure in NYC.
